Wednesday, 11th October Opening Night – Rockingham Ace Cinemas Rockingham TICKETS $20-$30 (See below) People under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Viewer discretion is advised. Due to the size of the venue and the nature of the Opening Ceremony, there are two types of tickets for this evening: Gold Lounge Ceremony to General Seating and General Admission. As the names imply, the latter ticket will grant entry into the cinema for the 7:00 p.m. start of the Opening Night screening. The former are also tickets for general admission seating, however, they will grant access to Ace Cinemas Rockingham’s Gold Lounge Function Room for refreshments and professional photographs during the Opening Ceremony, which starts promptly at 6:00 pm. As such, the Gold Lounge Ceremony ticket is priced at $30, with only 100 tickets available. General Admission tickets are priced at $20, with 120 tickets remaining at the time of writing.
Prior to 6:00 pm: Gold Lounge Ceremony ticketholders arrive for registration and enter the Gold Lounge Function Room at Ace Cinemas Rockingham. 6:00 pm: The Opening Ceremony begins. A selection of catered food and refreshments will be provided, and drinks will be available to purchase at the bar. There will be an Event Photographer to capture you in front of our Media Wall in the function room. All guests will have access to download these professional photographs in the days following the event. You are welcome to share these photographs on social media and keep them for personal or professional use. During the ceremony, the Mayor of the City of Rockingham will say a few words before the festival is declared open for 2023. 6.45 pm - Guests will exit the Gold Lounge Function Room and will have a chance to visit the kiosk before making their way into the seating area of Cinema 1. 6:55 pm: After General Admission ticketholders have entered the cinema, our Event Photographer will take a group photograph of the audience. 7:00 p.m.: The Opening Night screening begins. 8:25 pm: During or after the credits roll, attending filmmakers, cast and crew will be invited to the front of the cinema to be acknowledged by the audience. 8:30 pm: Opening Night for Rock The Boat Film Festival concludes.
